The Gill Man is often overshadowed by his older brothers like Dracula, Wolfman and Frankenstein but he deserves more spotlight, he was familiar but original and its a monster flick that still entertains to this day. If this is your first time watching this, please consider the time period and DONT compare it to modern films. The Gill Man's characteristics may mirror King Kong but he's still an awesomely designed monster.
